Is there such a product? My daughter is learning to make cakes and she received a book for Christmas and it called for chalk food coloring. If there is such a product where can I find it. I have look thru the book and no source was listed. I have searched the web with no luck. Any help would be great. Thanks
Scott Clark Woolley recommends shaving chalk with a razor to use as a dust--that would be a matte color flower dust. But I don't think it would work well as a straight up food color. You can add some pearl dust to get a lustery dust.
I got some chalk as a back up because I love dusts--you can't have too many--but dodobird bought oil pastels--hahahaha--those don't work.
But they are recommended to use as dusts.
I lump them all under the moniker, 'spoofle dust'.
