I saw these lovely cupcake toppers made out of fondant. They were cut into 2" circles with a monogram stamp on them. Obviously they used a clean rubber stamp to make the impression. Question is: will the impression stay or melt into the fondant and will they taste ok to just eat them? I am thinking of ordering peppermint flavored fondant to make them like mints for a wedding. Anyone have suggestions? Thanks in advance. I have never used fondant so have NO idea what I am doing.

The impression should stay just fine. Be sure to let them dry well. Fondant isn't a taste everyone enjoys but hey I've had people request the Wilton fondant instead of the Mmf!! Crazy but true LOL. You could also use tappits to do a fondant monogram letter on top of the fondant circle. Those turn out beautiful. HTH
