I just came across this product and was wondering if anyone has used it and could tell me how it works/tastes. Also, does anyone know where I can find a smaller size to sample? I have only found it in 35 lb buckets. I would like to taste this thing before I commit to such a large amount.

TIA

It works/tastes just like any other buttercream, but the Brill Xtra Smooth is easier to work with (right out of the bucket, it's perfectly smooth and consistent every time--no air bubbles at all).

A 35 lb. bucket isn't considered a large amount and I doubt that you'll be able to find a smaller quantity from H.C. Brill. If you came across it locally from a supplier, they might be able to get you a sample to try.

If you can't use it that fast, you can always repack it into smaller quantities and freeze it.

AYou can purchase a 32 or 34lb bucket from your local Walmart bakery. The price is $37.99, the lowest price by far that I've found for Brill frosting.
