Ok, so after searching ALL OVER (not just CC) I can't find any real guidance on how to successfully pipe fur onto a RKT feature AND be able to transport it about 20mi to the location without the fur falling off. As far as tips go, I'm assuming the grass tip will suffice. Anyone have any other ideas on what tip to use for the piping? I've also toyed with the idea of just covering the figure with red fondant...but how would I make it look like fur and not something that a child scratched?

Any ideas/experiences would be a great help. I'll be sure to take pictures as I go and share the outcome with everyone!

Thanks!

Grass tip works great for fur!

I'm looking to make fur for a RKT Elmo. Any tips to help it adhere to the RKT?

Dirty ice / Crumb coat it first with the red icing, then pipe with the grass tip. The crumb coat will hold the "fur."

Manderly42 is right. Just frost the RKT first (light coat) to give the fur something to stick to. Should be fine.
