I am making red velvet cupcakes for a rehersal dinner tomorrow night. If I make the cream cheese icing now will it need to be refrigerated or can it sit out?
hi, yes , refrigerate your c/c icing. take it out a little before applying to c/c and you will be fine.
I would keep it refrigerated because of both the cream cheese and the butter.
