A few weeks back someone posted a question about whether you can dye stamen black. I can't find it anywhere.

I actually ordered black stamen but the heads are a bit too big, so now I'm back to windering if I can dye my white ones.

Does anyone know?

Thanks in advance icon_smile.gif

Hi, yes you can dye them. What I found worked best was to put on gloves, wet the gloves with vinegar and some black gel dye and massage the dye into the stamens. Separate and dry well.

Thanks guys. I'll give it a go tomorrow. I can always use the bigger ones if I'm desperate. icon_smile.gif

I've painted mine black (and other colors) before with regular food color gel. Have fun!!
