How long b/t batches do I need to let the pan cool? Also, should I keep the batter in the refrigerator while the pan is cooling?

Hi and welcome to CC! You need to let the mini-cakes cool for 5-10 minutes on a cooling rack before taking them out of the pan. I personally use a timer so I don't forget. At that point it should be just fine to fill them up again after applying pan release.

Most people here on CC recommend keeping batter in the fridge between batches.

If you need instructions for the Mini Ball pan, here is a link:

You should always use a cold pan but just washing it and then rinsing in cold should make it good to go right away. I can't answer your question about the batter without knowing the recipe, some batters are fine on the counter and others need to bake right away because of the chemical reaction going on with the baking powder (or is it baking soda?)
