I'm almost out of plastic wrap and I've started to bake a few cakes. Is there anything else I can use to help keep my cakes moist?
Any kind of zip lock bag should help depending on the size of the bag and cake.
Just use a straw to get out as much air as possible.
What I have done as well is to wrap the cake in parchment paper (trimming a band for sides and circle for shape of cake) and applying it while still warm (best shot at it adhering) then wrap the cake up in foil.
I have also frozen my cakes in an air tight container too.
