I was just wondering if anyone has made macsmom's chocolate wasc and if so the 2 c of coffee is that prepared coffee ( I know silly question ) it just seems like the recipe calls for a lot of liquid (I guess the pudding helps with that ).

Does the coffee add a strong coffee flavor to the cake or does it just make the chocolate taste better.

Thanks for any help

this is THE BEST CHOCOLATE CAKE!!! you can't taste the coffee it brings out the chocolate flavor and you might need to add extra liquid because it is a very thick cake.

It's not too much liquid, because you are using two cake mixes. If you want to use just one box, use 1 cup. It is a good chocolate cake.

Absolutely my go-to cake, and it's not too much liquid, don't worry.

I absolutely love this recipe!!!!!! I use milk instead of the water and I get rave reviews about it!
