My daughter has a friend in her girl's group that is highly allergic to milk. I made the cute snowman chocolate covered ores yesterday for a party they had, and of course the girl could not have any. Her mother asked if we can try making the cookies using vegan chocolate chips.

Does anybody know if these can be molded? (I'm using the Spinning Leaf molds) Would the these chips need to be tempered like regular chocolate? Does it come in white? Can I color it using the food coloring for chocolate, or can regular food coloring be used? (does it seize up like regular chocolate?)

Thanks so much for your help. I really want to be able to make these for this girl; she is so sweet.
