I am trying to match the navy blue from my almost one year old daughter's birthday dress. I started with white, added royal blue, black and sky blue (which gave me a gorgeous tealy blue) and thought hmmm maybe some violet? Well it's certainly getting there and I love the color but it is not exactly navy blue. Any thoughts? It's hard to describe the current color: charcoal grey/steel blue/grayish blue that's more blue than gray.

Now, mind you, my one year old won't care and no one else will but me because I am anal that way. I am replicating everything from her dress on the cake and I want this to be stunning. After all the main color on the dress is navy blue!

Anyone have any recommendations? Any help greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Jodi

Keep adding more black until it looks more navy.
