What is the correct way to present a candy cane cake( cake shaped like a candy cane)? With curve facing the top left or right?

Thanks
Stephanie

Thanks guys for the reply. Sorry it took me so long to get back on to say thanks. Power Cord went hay wire on CPU. LOL
I finished the cake with it turned to the right, didn't look right to me, so I had to re-do the whole thing and turn it to the left. LOL
@ Debi, my mom said the same thing. LOL Thanks again!

Either direction is fine, since a candy cane has no front or back.

I'm guessing that when they're being made by hand and layed out to harden, it depends on the handedness of the person pulling the sugar, just like when decorators pipe a border--I'm a lefty and I pipe from right to left.

I'm glad you got your cake done. For me, when in doubt, I put one in each direction..... icon_lol.gif
