I'm sure the answer is here somewhere but I can't find it. Does any body know a cake size / MMF quantity?

Thanks,

I have covered an 8" and 6" with one batch, with leftovers for decorations. I'm not sure of the exact quantity of fondant, but I used an MMF recipe from this site. I don't do a lot of fondant covered cakes, so I hoped this helped you a little!

I don't know your recipe or how big 1 batch is for you, but perhaps this will help...
From the Satin Ice website:
http://www.satinfinefoods.com/product.htm

6"................................................10 oz.
8"................................................12 oz.
10"..............................................18 oz.
12"..............................................24 oz.
14"..............................................48 oz.

I just made my first batch of MMF the recipe called for 16oz of mm and 2lbs of sugar. It made more then 2 lbs of fondant. I JUST covered a 12" round cake (3" high) and I have a good amount of fondant leftover.
