Does anyone know of any good cake design software that doesn't cost a lot?

I bought the Wedding Cake Design Pro software a couple of years ago, but I never use it... it was really slow and didn't give me the freedom I wanted.
What I use now is Microsoft Powerpoint. I used the "can" and "cube" autoshapes to create a 1/2/3/4/5 tier cake template. During the consultation I pick the template that the bride wants (4-tier round) and then use colored pencils to sketch the design details. It works well for me.
