Please help me come up with a Tron cake for a 15 year old. Needs to serve 15-20 people and it would be great if it incorporated a lacross stick. Thanks in advance.

One of my favorite all-time films. Can't wait until the new one comes out on DVD or on HBO (do not like theaters - too noisy).

The first thing I thought of was the neon on the outfits that the programs wear. morrisaz2004 did a neon sign cake that reminded me of them.

But I can't tell you how to fit lacrosse in there. The only games I remember were light cycles and program frisbees - both were fights to the death.

There is the game with the concentric circles where a ball is tossed and caught with a jaialai mit which kinda looks like a stick attached to the arm. Not a lacrosse stick, but maybe you could work it in there. The second pic in this has a pic of this game.

If you are into 3-D cakes, I think one of the big upside-down "U" type vehicles might be neat. Here's a pic of what I am talking about. http://media.photobucket.com/image/tron%20(1982)/leighjevans/Tron/BrokeRecognizer.jpg?o=4

Can you tell I am a nut for this movie?

I forgot about that game - the one on the circles tilt and disappear, right?

Yes Playingwithsugar. It was the first game Jeff Bridges played when he was "beamed" into the computer.

I can't wait to see it... I just watched the original again in preparation! I have been carrying around the DVD for years!
