I want to make 1 inch layers for my Topsy Turvy cake due next weekend. How much batter do I put in the pan? Would you say 1/2 inch. Will it rise enough to make 1 inch...Is it easier to bake 1 inch layers or cut a 2 inch layer in half..I never can seem to get them torted evenly and I don't have an Agbay.... icon_rolleyes.gif The skinny wilton wire never torts evenly.. icon_mad.gif

Thanks thumbs_up.gif

I would do a regular 2" and then torte it; then you know for sure that it is exactly 1" the whole way around. If you need more than one, this will save you time as well.
