Hi there, I'm doing a carved dragon cake and going to have lots of leftover cake and whipped ganache, i was wondering, can i use the whipped ganache in place of the icing to make cake pops? its for a birthday party this weekend and would like to make little mushrooms/ rock cake pop decorations for the cake. thank you so much in advance!

That would work well, and be very rich and delicious to boot! =]

It shouldn't. I've never had it breakdown from being chilled (whipped ganache that is). If you are worried though you could always heat it up and add it in as a liquid rather than all whipped up. =]
