Hi there, I'm doing a carved dragon cake and going to have lots of leftover cake and whipped ganache, i was wondering, can i use the whipped ganache in place of the icing to make cake pops? its for a birthday party this weekend and would like to make little mushrooms/ rock cake pop decorations for the cake. thank you so much in advance!
oh, good! i was hoping it wouldnt break down inside the pop, but i will be making them the night before and putting them in the fridge.
It shouldn't. I've never had it breakdown from being chilled (whipped ganache that is). If you are worried though you could always heat it up and add it in as a liquid rather than all whipped up. =]
