well I finished the doll cake-it's in my pictures icon_smile.gif The cake was fun to do despite the up and downs with the client. No one had any reaction to the cake so...meh. I liked it and thats what matters to me on this one.

A NINE year old who is screaming for a doll cake???? I mean really...not a three year old...not a five year old...but a NINE year old???? Crying about cake?????

You did a great job and I'm glad this turned out well for you.

You mentioned that the girl would be giving up her doll to you for this cake. This made me wonder how you handle this safety wise, especially considering it's a used doll that's gone through who knows what kind of germs and nose picking. Do you boil the thing before inserting it in the cake? Or do you wrap it in cellophane? How did you handle this?
