Dumb question, I know! icon_redface.gif

Is the premade Wilton Cookie Icing just royal icing already made and colored? I want to make some royal icing poinsettias, holly, etc and thought if I could use that I wouldn't have to make any. A total cheat, I know, but thought it was worth checking!

Thanks!
Alyssa

No, it doesn't harden like royal icing. I used it once and was more like a glazed finsh.

Thanks for responding - I decided just to make some royal icing anyway instead of trying the premade cookie icing because I had an inkling that was the case! Plus, by the time I bought the four colors I need - it would've been cheaper just to make royal anyway. I was just trying to be lazy! icon_wink.gif
