Do you brush simple syrup on your cake layers to make it moist? I have been doing that and people like it, but I have been thinking, does adding the simple syrup make the cake unstable? I bought sharon zambito's DVDs, but did not order the basics one, does anyone know if she uses simple syrup on her cakes before she fills them and ice them?
Yep to using simple syrup. Every cake. No it doesn't make them unstable. Why would it?
