My kids, ages 2-9 ALL love the "How Do Dinosaurs" books by Jane Yolen. I have two boys and one girl, and they all dig them. They are fun books for grown-ups to read aloud to little ones, with clever, funny rhymes.

They also (and me, too) like the Skippyjon Jones books by Judy Schachner. Also very funny and clever and fun to read aloud.

Amelia Bedelia!! These books are good for any age, they are hilarious even for my son who thinks as literally as Amelia does.
