I have a wedding on Saturday, and the bride wants some detail work on the cake to match her bridesmaid dresses. The color is David's Bridal Sangria. I'm close, but the icing looks more plum than the sangria color. Any suggestions would be appreciated! I really despise David's Bridal colors...extremely difficult to match. icon_lol.gif

Try this. I use Americolor "Deep Pink" airbrush color (a little bottle). And a few drops makes a really hot pink in fondant. If you start with a really dark, hot pink (this color makes) then add purple (the purple I use is wilton - I have a little of everything LOL) you might arrive at the color.

I made some flowers on my dora cake that are not the same color but I think could've been if I"d added more purple. Anyway, that's experiment #1 you can try. icon_smile.gif
