I need help as soon as anyone can give it to me! I have a yellow cake recipe I planned on using but I made it a few days ago and it just crumbles apart! I love making 3D cake and have a really cool 3D monster cake planned for my sons 1st birthday party on Saturday! I am planning on making the cake tomorrow. I need a really good tasting yellow cake recipe that won't crumble when I buttercream it and holds up under fondant....PLEASE HELP ASAP!

i agree with the WASC recipie. i use it quite oftem for carved cakes. do you not typically use yellow cake for your carved cakes? also a good idea is to check under the recipie section here-tons of great recipies with comments! HTH and good luck on the cake! i'm sure it will be fabulous!!
