I have this mixer and I LOVE it! I can make huge batches of BC in it and the big 2box WASC recipes with no problem for volume.

My 8 yr old 475 watt KA would have cost $360 to fix so I bought that 7 qt 1000 watt Cusinart on sale for $420 and I absolutely LUV it! I am in awe of its power and beauty....It comes with a shield and has a timer. Thanks for the tip, warchild. Wouldn't have known about the sale. Would highly recommend this mixer!

Do you have craigslist or a similar type site in Canada? I found a 6qt Professional KA for $150 and that's what I use now for small mixes.

i just got the 7 qt cuisinart and i love it. my hubby got it on cyber monday for $381 with 2 day shipping. he got it from amazon.
