Does anyone know how to make a 3D mickey? I saw a couple of them on this site and it is very impressive. I have never done a 3D person or animal and I am scared of making Mickey look really bad (as it can happen with popular characters). Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

What kind of 3D mickey? Out of cake? Or a fondant figure?

there were a couple of them that had a 3D mickey sitting and holding on to the cake in front of him. They said they used RKT but I am not sure how or for what parts.

There's a good tutorial on rice krispies treats at this link, even though it's not Mickey, you'll understand better how they're done.

I'll keep on looking for a tutorial on Mickey. But this is a good start, I think.

DinasSugarShack, I made one not that long ago. I used RKT just for his head. His body and the present in front of him was made of cake. Arms, legs, feet and hands were fondant. Here is a link to him:

For his head, just make RKT as per box and shape into his head shape. Let that dry a day or so. I covered it in white choc. to smooth is out some before I put the fondant on.
I carved his body out of 3 stacked 5" cakes and covered in fondant. Use a center dowel thru his body and leave it sticking up about 3" or so to put his head on.
If you need any more help, feel free to PM me!
Good luck!
