I think this is the best cake show on right now! Watched the season premiere tonight and it was awsome!

I love this show. They had a marathon on all the earlier episodes today. I have set the DVR for the season premiere.

I have it dvr'd too. They actually called to ask me to apply but the timing didn't work out. I was more than flattered that they called me.

I love this show because you actually learn something, there is very little (if any) drama, and they mention how much these fabulous cakes really cost!

Love this show, but I have seen quite a few of the episodes before, so I don't think the show is new. I too like that they show how different techniques are done.

I would love to know what silver and gold dusts they used on the Buzz Aldrin cake to paint with, does anyone have a guess?

It wasn't a series premiere, it was the second season premiere.

I believe there were only 4 episodes in the first season:
#1 7-19-10 Las Vegas
#2 7-26-10 Philadelphia
#3 8-02-10 Southern California
#4 8-09-10 New York

I do love the show! I was asked to be one of the featured cake artists and got my client psyched, my cake drawings turned in and approved, the size requirements ok'd, all was going well then they couldn't find 2 other bakers in the Atlanta area at the same time who were doing a cake that could be "put on steroids" as they said. Major bummer, I was really depressed.
