I have to do a phone booth cake for 10 people. I was going to bake a 10" square cake and divide it into quarters and stack. The cake will be 5" by 5" by approx 8" high. I was going to put a wooden dowel through the centre for support but I don't know if this will be enough support. I don't know if this will be the best way. Help!

I would stack the first two layers, put in your supports (dowels or straws) and then put your next two layers on their cardboard/foamboard and put them on top. Still I would put the dowel down the middle securing it into the bottom board.
