What is the difference between petal dust, luster dust & pearl dust? Thanks in advance.

Petal dust is just a flat color, whereas the other two will give you some sparkle or shimmer with the base color. Pearl dust being not quite as lustery as Luster Dust. I hope that makes sense, if not, hopefully someone else will try and explain it better.

I mainly use Luster Dust, but they all are used on gumpaste and fondant decorations. You can mix them to make new colors too. For instance, I needed a Black Luster Dust, but my store near me does not have that, so the clerk told me that I could mix Black Petal Dust with White Luster Dust and I would get Black Luster. I am in love with those things. lol. You can dust them on dry or mix with some extract and paint. icon_biggrin.gif
