I made a royal icing tiara, but didn't even think about coloring the icing before piping it, so now I have a white tiara. I want it to be silver. Should I just make a grey-ish color out of black & white coloring & vodka & add my silver pearl dust? Please help!! My cake needs to be ready tomorrow!! Thanks!!

I would probebly only use the silver pearl dust just laying it on heavier than usual or I have heard if you don't have a air brush to use a spray bottle with the mixture black & white w vodka standing at lease 12" to 18"or so from your piece but I tend to be hesitant on this with this case, only becasue the moisture might break you tierra, best of luck wish I could have been more help.

I've painted a white tiara with silver luster dust/vodka. You just have to go heavy with the luster dust, and you may have to do it in two coats. It works great, tho!

Yep. I paint all my royal tiaras with silver dust mixed with Everclear.
