I stacked two 8 rounds and a 7 with the 7 on the bottom to shape a basketball hoop.....I didncarve it I just filled that inch with bc....now am I going to have structure trouble doing this? Its going on top of a square, nothing on top bit the basket ball made of rkt covered with fondant...its a little heavy, but it will be supported....I never did this before and don't want a problem??? Help asap ...thanks
If I understand you correctly you should be ok.
From the bottom up you've got a 7 then an 8 then another 8 on top of that to shape a basketball hoop. Then you're gonna use proper support in there and put a rkt basketball on top of that--you should be fine if the butterceam is nice & sturdy--no reason why it shouldn't be great.
Oh I missed the part about going on top of a square--so long as you support* every 4-6 inches high you'll be fine even with the difference in the 7 to 8 inchers.
*boards & dowel or sps or whatever you use
OK THANKS SO MUCH .....I will support it real well
