Fondant And Gumpaste Hardening

can I add (tylose?) to premade fondant such as Satin Ice or Chocopan to make it harden up to gumpaste?

you can add tylose to premade fondant, not chocopan(has chocolate in it) to make gumpaste. I would use wilton fondant for this purpose. Satin ice is more expensive and softer. Wilton is a great fondant to use tylose with. Don,t know if those who make mmf uses tylose to make g/p from that or not. hth I make it all the time with the wilton fondant, works great.

i use it in all my fondants...no troubles..including mmf,,works great! AND Fast..I will make my sculpture at night and let it sit over night..it's hard in morning.
