I'm making a 3 tier wedding cake for this Saturday. If I cover it in fondant on Friday how do I store it to finish decorating when I set up on Sat. and keep it from cracking?

Hiya

It really shouldn't crack unless it's not stored flat and slides. If I'm taking a cake somewhere before it's stacked then I'd keep them in cake boxes, you're really only protecting them from dust and anyone touching them.

Are you putting dowels in your cake? I'd do that when your fondant is still soft to prevent cracking aswell.
