Well since nobody has replied I can offer a little help. You can put a little violet into your jelly to offset the yellow tint. Also I would make the jelly quite concentrated, let it set a bit till you can put the gear on top them pour more cool but unset jelly on that slowly as not to get bubbles in it. You don't say what the gears are made of but they cannot be fondant/gumpaste/royal as they will melt into the jelly before the top layer sets enough to encase them. Hope that helps.

there are so many ways to make a decorated gelatin. When i have done a clear one 3 D or 2D, what ever put inside is also made out of gelatin made out of milk so it is white and you can paint it and then put it inside the pan you are using and cover with clear gelatin.

I haven't experience any yellowish color on the clear one. I put citric acid and lot of sugar , non flavor gelatin taste awful.

there is a good amount of gelatines here. All clear with inside decoration, the clear one is done first. It is always a little bit yellowish, there is no way to avoid it.

Very interesting! How is the decoration made & formed from gelatin? I couldn't find any tutorials about this.

Spanish and Portuguese people are always making these decorated gelatines.

Here's two more videos that might show them more clearly, plus one being done right there in the video.

there are not big tutorial with all info, like recipes or how to asemble the gelatin. I got all info from a specialize magazine. Basicaly here different recipe for each method: colored gelatin, white gelatin made out of milk, and clear gelatin. It has to be worked step by step. all my drawings are on the white gelatin and then covered with clear or colored gelatin
