I made too much ganache. Can the ganache that was unused, be frozen?
(Whipping cream and chocolate chips are the ingredients) Will it still be ok to use by December 15?
Yes, you can freeze ganache. Put plastic wrap on top of ganache, then cover with lid. I,m talking about putting it in a freezer type container. I am told it will keep up to 3 months frozen. hth
I have done this, It can be frozen in an airtight container for up to 9 months. I thaw it slowly using a double boiler or I get a large pot full of hot water and place the frozen ganache container.
