I have to make a gold striped cake for this weekend and I wanted to get a nice gold on there so I ordered a Metalic gold airbrush color. Can I use this to paint on the stripes? Do I have to use alcohol? I tried using gold luster dust with alchohol and I just didn't get the gold I was looking for. Thanks!

It being gold AIRBRUSH color, use it as is. No alcohol. Just used some this week end on a golden anniversary cake. Used brush and painted it on my plaque etc. hth
