Hi all. I want to make a Star Wars cake with the 2 bottom tiers being round cakes (would love for the bottom tier to be smaller that the one above it) the 3rd tier (from the bottom) being a Death Star and then the top tier being round. I have no idea how to defy gravity and have the top tier be sitting atop a ball. Any ideas? thanks!

A really good support system. I would probably make the death star out of styrophone. Do a search through the pics, there are a ton on this site with simular construction. Maybe PM the designer and see what they did for support.
