The recipe is: 1 package white cake mix
2/3 cup flour, 2 eggs, 3tbs. melted butter, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 cup toasted
almonds, 3 tbs. lemon peel
mix all together with mixer, finish by kneading by hand, make 2 logs
bake 25 min. @ 350 rest 25 min. cut into bars, re-bake for 10 min.
It came out great. I even brushed on thin Royal Icing with brush and
sprinked Almond crumbs on them. I even tried a chocolate version with
walnuts and hazelnut Lorann oil flavoring. They came out nice & crunchy perfect with coffee. I want to experiment with more different flavors,
What other flavor combos have any of you used for your Biscotti recipes? icon_biggrin.gif
