I posted the other day for a recipe to put into cookie stamps. They are big cookie stamps of a Christmas tree, Santa. Ginger bread Boy, etc, and the dough has to be put into these mold and then put the molds on a cookie sheet to bake. My question is what kind of dough should I use for these? Does anyone have a good recipe to share. Thanks to all of you.

Here's the sugar cookie recipe from the Brown Bag stone cookie molds:

1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 Tbs milk or cream
2 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg or cimmamon

Throughly cream the butter by hand. Add sugar and mix until fluffy. Beat in the egg and then the milk. Stir in the dry ingredients. Knead the dough for just a minute. Chill the dough, then form the cookies. Bake at 350 for 10 - 12 minutes or until the edges brown.
