I'm making cupcakes for a fair on Saturday morning, was just looking for advice on how many to make? I've been told different amounts by different people.

I did a festival a couple of months ago and it was FANTASTIC! I was told to expect 10,000 people. I only made 10 dozen cupcakes and wish I had made more! The festival was 9am-4pm and I didn't get started until 1:30pm but sold out by 3:30pm. My advice would be to make your inventory based on the amount of people expected to attend the fair.

P.S. don't forget to bring change, at least $100-$200 worth. I forgot change and was getting hit with $20's and $50's and couldn't make change.

Good Luck and have fun!

I would make 500.

Thanks for the replies.

Its only for a wee church fair for 3 hours, I've made 100. I'll be happy if any of them sell lol.
