Cross Cake For 60?

I have to make a Baptism cross cake for next Saturday and it has to serve 60 person, how big should it be? if I use a sheet cake to carve how big should the sheet cake be?

My standard cross cakes starts with a 1/4 sheet single torted layer and serves 15-20. If you use a half sheet 2 layer you should have enough- although it will make a very large overall piece. Have you considered a cross with a "ribbon above & below it to get more cake servings without an oversized cross. ( there is one on my photo gallery that is a cross for a twin baptism where I do a "ribbon" at the top between 2 crosses)
