Okay, Cakers! Get your thinking caps on!
I'm drawing a blank.
I need a cake for a 'big boy', 12 year old who loves to fish.
His aunt asked that the cake not be childish, so there go the cute gummy worm ideas.

A can of bait with worms coming out the top?

I was thinking of taking an 8" and making the whole thing look like a fishing reel, then I had thought about doing a quarter sheet, cutting and stacking like a tackle box, or baking in loaf pans to get that tackle box shape. I can mix BC and MMF into the design.

Help Please!

Figure sitting on a rock at the side of a pond, fishing pole in hand. Tackle box, bucket with a couple of fish in it. A lot of work. Look forward to photos.

What about a realistic fish. Find out what kind he likes to fish for and do that, maybe with a hook in its mouth.
