has anyone used this pan? i just got one from ebay, for a birthday party next wkend. tried a test run tonight and its not rising into the back half of the pan. you pour the batter into the front half of the pan, put the back half on, and hope it rises into the back half i guess! LOL at least thats what i did! the back half has a steam hole in it so u cant fill that side, any ideas??

You can also bake those cake with both halves flat..Just plug the little steam hole with a bit of foil...bake as usual and then level and glue together for the whole lamb.

Yeah..I have doweled them with thin wooden skewers like you use on the BBQ..It worked fine but those darn pans never bake up right so doing both halves is easier...
