I froze an uniced tier last week (wrapped in Saran and aluminum foil). I want to ice and decorate tomorrow night.

When should I take it out of the freezer? I let it thaw on the counter wrapped, right? It's 10" round chocolate cake (3 separate layers).

Thanks!

yes, leave it wrapped. 10" rounds will thaw in about 30 minutes so you could take it out in the morning.
