Hi all,

I am going to be sculpting a shotgun replica out of RKT and covering in modeling chocolate. Can anyone tell me how far in advance I can do this? I would ideally like to make it a week in advance, and was hoping that since I would be covering it that this would preserve the freshness. Any thoughts or suggestions?? Thanks so much!

I whirl my rk in my food processor--those last for weeks made into rkt and molded with or without chocolate covering. Regular rkt have all that air in there & I think a week might be ok. If fresh taste is your goal, I'd only do a couple days in advance for unwhirled rkt. If you want the gun to still look great and be ok to eat then a week would be fine.
