I'd love to know the same thing. I'm going to Miami/Ft.Lauderdale next week and was hoping to find a couple of nice cake supply stores. Thanks in advance for any replies!

Are you driving and going through the Orlando area by chance?

Hi I live in Sunrise not too far from Margate. I usually get my supplies at Michaels and there is also a great supply store in Plantation. It's at 1379 S. University Drive Plantation, FL 33324. They have a website too. www.cakesuppliesdepot.com
If you're willing to venture to Miami, another store has amazing supplies. It's called America Cake decorating supplies, inc. The address is 3100 NW 72nd Avenue Miami, FL 33122.

Good luck!

Since becoming interested in cake decorating I have gone to near and far for every place I could find., and YES! I have found some jewels!! icon_biggrin.gif
To those that need the info here it is:

FT- Lauderdale area:
1.- The cake Supply depot in Plantion is my number one! This store has almost everything you could need, cutters ,molds, chocolate molds, candy molds , lots of tools, cake pans, cake boards, color gels, dust,
airbrush paint, cupcake liners, disposable cupcake carrier, and lots of other thing, when I got there the first time (even though I live in Miami!) I though I was in CAKE HEAVEN!! icon_biggrin.gif Customer service is somewhat lacking.

2- In the same area is

3-Closer to my area

Here the owner and the employee are very helpful, I have taken some classes . The area for the classes is beautiful, it has everything! The classes for me are a little expensive.

FYI
Cuqui Designs Inc is no longer in business. I went to their store and it is closed. Their website is no longer up either.

I did make it to Cake Art and it is really nice. They have a good assortment of supplies and a really big beautiful class area! I resisted the urge and only spent $10 LOL!
