I have been decorating for a few months now, but I still have a ton to learn. I have a problem with getting the nice sharp edges on either a circle or a square cake. I would appreciate any tips, tricks or advice on how to get that professional looking cake.
also, what tools would you use?
Crusting buttercream, hot spatula, viva paper towels, fondant smoother...so many options.
I highly recommend "The Art of Perfecting Buttercream" DVD by Sharon Zambito. Great and easy to follow instructions.
Good advice here for all kinds of coverings and shapes, hope that helps. I would also recommend getting Planet Cake book.
