Please, is there a way to estimate how many flowers to use for a cake? I am covering the sides of a 9" round x 4" high cake with 1" dogwood flowers - not great at math!

The formula to find the surface area of a cylinder is 2 pi r h.

So that would be 2x3.14x4.5x4= 113.04 square inches.

You'll want extra in case of breakage icon_biggrin.gif
