I have a request to make a birthday cake for a 17 year old boy that likes to watch Cage Fighting. Does anybody have a suggestion on how to go about this? I am thinking about using a hexagon pan for the cake and putting a cage on top of it but I am not sure how to go about making the cage. Any suggestions would be appreciated. TIA.

Cake boss actually made a cage fighting cake. You could maybe see if you can find it on the net. They made a hexagon shaped base, had te cage round it (not sure what they used) an made some
fighters from modelling chocolate x

What if you made the cage in panels of piped chocolate?? Or out of gumpaste with a clay extruder? Making a solid type frame around each panel to hold the wire cage??
