I have fallen in love with this cake.
I have contacted the baker and she hasn't responded so I thought I would ask you guys.
How do you think she did the fence? It is Fondant or Gum paste? Do you think she let it dry and harden before attaching to the cake?
It's my Nephews 3rd birthday this weekend and I want to make this cake for him.
Also, What colors do you think she used for the bottom and top layers?
It looks like fondant. I have done a beer bucket cake and cut strips of fondant and let them dry before attaching (I put them in the oven overnight with the light on to speed the drying process). Bottom Tier looks like a dark Ivory. Top may be the same with luster dust on it to give it a sheen (maybe even a smidge of black). Good Luck!!
The description says it's covered and decorated with MMF.
Maybe you could try pastiage too for the fencing
