its my sons 2nd birthday next week and i would love to do him this special agent oso cake.
how do i go about making the shape and it holding together. im not worried about the fondant as im used to it but its the structure.
would 2 sports ball cakes joined work?
I don't know how big you want to make the cake but I would use stacked round cakes to good support. Like BODY - 2 9" cakes with dowels, card board, and then 2 8" cakes with dowels, cardboard. HEAD - 2 6" cakes. Run a dowel down through the whole thing after that for stability. Maybe 2 dowels.
Chill before you carve the cake so it will be easier.
Use RKT for arms and legs. Or you can carve the arms when you carve the body if you are comfortable with that.
